Last year, I had the opportunity to attend the PHUSE Single Day Event in Chennai, which was based on the theme ‘The Power of Data Visualisation and Reporting for Decision-Making, Building New Generation Dashboards and Exploring the Next Phase of Data Analytics’ and featured a wide variety of presentations from across the industry.
PHUSE Chapter Connect
As part of the Single Day Event (SDE), we had the Chapter Connect. It was interesting listening to PHUSE contributions to the Society across the regions and hearing about the remarkable activities of the Working Groups in particular. The energy was high as professionals exchanged their thoughts, industry use cases and solutions around AI/ML. In addition to this, the product presentations highlighted innovative solutions pertinent to our field.
About the SDE
The day was fully packed with a comprehensive agenda covering multiple tracks on the most happening topics in our industry, from a keynote presentation on Powering Clinical Trials with Intuitive Analytics to a session on Next-Gen Clinical Analytics Using Dashboards. Among the many enlightening sessions, the Panel Discussion on Career Development and Planning for Programmers grabbed everyone’s attention, as the speakers’ insights touched on real-time common mistakes, challenges and best practices in the industry. Networking is a cornerstone of PHUSE events. I connected with industry leaders and innovators and discussed challenges and experiences, which has opened up avenues for potential collaborations and partnerships.
Academia Connect
The Academia Connect was a memorable part of the event, as we had the opportunity to connect with students from NIPER Hyderabad, who had travelled all the way to Chennai to network with industry professionals and get guidance for their career development. The students had many interesting questions around learning journeys, technologies used and how our career pathway was built, and their curiosity throughout the session was commendable. The students also shared their reflections on the event with leaders. In conclusion, the PHUSE Chennai SDE was an enriching experience, brimming with knowledge-sharing and community-building.
