Today marks PHUSE’s 150th Single Day Event!

Held in Shanghai at the Novartis Campus, the theme of the day is ‘Data Visualisation in Clinical Trials for Accelerating Delivery and Decision-making’, run by Chairs Quting Zhang from BeiGene and Ella Cheng from Janssen Research & Development.

It is of no surprise that the SDE has reached full capacity as the APAC region is where the largest segment of our PHUSE members belong. This provides great networking opportunities for all attendees, ensuring an exciting day for everyone!

As we reach another great milestone for our membership, it is fantastic to see the continued development of our events. In recent years, since our 100th SDE, PHUSE SDEs have reached new locations around the globe, including South Africa in 2017, as well as Canada, Poland and Singapore in 2018.

A handful of 2019 SDE’s hosted a Poster session. Although they are not on the same scale as the Connect events, consisting of 4–5 posters, they operate in the same way, with posters on display for viewing and discussion. This brings more diversity to the SDEs, as they continue to grow.

There was also a Hands-on Workshop at the Heidelberg SDE in April 2019, where two parallel sessions were run on Machine Learning for Humans.
