Time for a change at PHUSE

This year we are celebrating 15 years of PHUSE. We have shared a lot of great stories about how PHUSE has evolved during this time. Take a look at our blog to read about PHUSE celebrating its 10th SDE in Copenhagen this year, as well as Sarvesh Singh, APAC Director, reflecting on the success of our Single Day Events. And last but not least, when we obtained two TransCelerate Guidance Tools to help promote clinical data transparency and patient privacy. Together, we have accomplished a great deal!

During the remainder of 2019, we will see our 150th SDE in Shanghai, China in November, and no doubt another sold out Connect, this time for Amsterdam also in November, click here to secure your space and register now.

Our Working Groups have had an extraordinary year, delivering more industry-relevant content than ever. All this would not have been possible without the support of our great volunteers, who really make a difference at PHUSE. If you are interested in getting involved with one of the Working Group Projects, view our vacancies.

Our PHUSE Board of Directors has also undergone considerable change during these 15 years. You may have read our recent blog about our newest Board members, Sangeeta Bhattacharya and Lisa Brooks, who now holds the position of our the NEW Board role of Collaborations Director. As an innovative and ever-evolving organisation, we are constantly trying out new things to deliver the best value for our near 10,000 members.

A lot of things have changed, which is a great thing! There is one thing, though, that until now has always remained the same – the PHUSE brand. When we founded PHUSE, our name was an acronym for Pharmaceutical Users Software Exchange. You could see that in our old logo and in our spelling of PhUSE. Today, PHUSE is far more than an acronym. We have many global members outside of the pharma industry and we have clearly moved beyond pure programming topics. It was the right time to make this visible and to come up with a new and fresh design.

You can see the improvements most prominently in our brand-new PHUSE logo. Our new colour palette ensures that we will have the same look and feel regardless of whether it is featured in printed brochures or is digitalised. It is a great visualisation of how PHUSE has evolved from an acronym to become a global community of clinical data scientists.

Over the coming days and weeks, you will see the rebrand rolling out, and our website and social media channels incorporating these changes. Take a look at the new PHUSE Website, as well as our LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube channels. Don’t forget to like and subscribe for our regular updates and content!

You will first see our new look at the Beerse SDE, on 11th September and all events from then onwards. Including the EU Connect in Amsterdam – so be sure to take your photograph in front of the new PHUSE sign and #PHUSE! The PHUSE App is another new edition to this year’s accomplishments and is available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Playstore for use at our Connect and CSS events.

All this is an outcome of the fantastic work of our PHUSE Office and the help of many volunteers. Hopefully, the one thing which will never change is the great teamwork in getting things done at PHUSE to help our membership to connect, share and advance!

How do you like our new brand? Share your thoughts with us on our social media channels, tell us at events or drop us an email at communications@phuse.eu. We look forward to receiving your feedback and hope to meet you in person at one of our upcoming events.
