US Connect 2022 Summary & Best in Conference Winners

The US Connect 2022 in Atlanta welcomed 500+ attendees from 120 different companies for an event full of unparalleled learning opportunities and exposure to the hottest industry topics.

Hear from Karen Curran, Connect Chair, for her summary of the event and note to the attendees.

“The US Connect, being the first in-person conference since 2019, was quite a feat, and beyond exciting – thank you to everyone for attending. It was an event like no other, with new and innovative ways to learn, share and present ideas.

The feedback has been outstanding, and the value of seeing everyone in person alone is priceless. PHUSE Connect conferences really have an amazing balance of technical content, strategic leadership insight and hands-on learning, and this year we also saw the additional value of leveraging our mindset.

The panel collaborations, the guest speakers, the Hands-on Workshops, the PHUSE/FDA Innovation Challenge and zooming in our Ukrainian PHUSE colleagues live from Ukraine were some of the amazing highlights of this conference!

Meeting with people I hadn’t seen in 15 years, seeing my PHUSE Committee members face to face and getting to know a slew of new people I can’t wait to partner with in the future all made a great conference even better. It was refreshing to be around people again!

I would like to give a special thank you to the PHUSE Office and the Board of Directors for their navigation of the challenging COVID landscape while also pushing us to drive innovative ways to connect, learn and share ideas; my Co-Chairs and all the Committee members, for helping to create an innovative conference (long gone are the days of presentation after presentation – we altered the conference format and it was pretty damn cool); and, lastly, the ‘rockstars’ who volunteered Monday night, for helping bring together a memorable week in Atlanta.

I am delighted to pass the Conference Chair torch to Michael Rimler, and his Co-Chairs Karnika Dalal and Bhavin Busa, and am ecstatic to be going to the US Connect 2023 in Orlando. I hope to see you there!”
