What to Expect From the CSS 2020 Poster Session

#23098 PHUSE CSS 2020 Virtual - Banner Standard Size v1.jpg

This year’s Computational Science Symposium will host the first-ever, live virtual Poster Session, on Tuesday 22nd September 14:30–16:30 (EDT). Read on to learn how this will run virtually, how you can get involved as an attendee, and for a sneak-peek at some of the exciting content lined up!

What content can I expect?

The CSS 2020 Poster Session will host 17 exciting posters, 6 of which will be from the FDA.

These have been grouped into six Working Groups topics: Nonclinical Topics, NEW Education, Emerging Trends & Technologies, Optimizing the Use of Data Standards and our two NEW Working Groups for 2020, Safety Analytics, and Data Visualisation and Open Source Technology in Clinical Research. Topics to be discussed include OSC Tools and Services, SEND and JumpStart.

Be sure to read the Working Groups Summer Blog for more on the new elements of the Working Groups, the outputs that are expected to be published by the end of September, and to be up to date in preparation for the CSS event.

How will the session run?

Each poster will have a live five-minute presentation, where the author will discuss their poster and the key ideas explored.

All posters will be uploaded to the ‘Resources’ section on ON24, for attendees to view at their leisure and refer back to. Resources is easily accessible, in the bottom toolbar of your virtual event screen.
