In an impactful session hosted at the University of Calicut on 10 November 2023, the PHUSE Academia Meet initiative continued its mission to forge meaningful connections. Over 50 students actively participated, alongside department faculties, in an engaging atmosphere. The event facilitated interactions with the Head of the Department (HOD) and other esteemed faculty members, enriching the overall experience.

The visit centred around the expansive domain of clinical research and the diverse career opportunities it offers. Distinguished industry expert Rijesh Parammal, Senior Manager at ICON Clinical Research, and Mahesh Divakaran, Associate Lead in Clinical Data Analytics at GENPRO Research Ltd, took the lead in a thought-provoking session. They shared invaluable insights into the current landscape of the industry, discussing growth prospects and emerging trends.

The dynamic and engaging interaction sparked curiosity among both students and the faculty, prompting numerous requests for follow-up sessions. Students expressed keen interest in delving deeper into the industry, while educators sought to align their curricula with the evolving requirements of the field.
