We are delighted to report on our recent visit to Mar Ivanios College, Trivandrum, as part of the PHUSE Academia Meet initiative. On 19 February 2024, our team of esteemed industry professionals, including Ajith B. S. Nair, Senior Project Manager at Genpro Research; Rijesh Paramal, Senior Manager of Statistical Programming at ICON; and Mahesh Divakaran, Associate Lead in Clinical Data Analytics at Genpro Research, conducted an engaging and insightful session aimed at providing students with valuable insights into the field of clinical research.

We discussed aspects of the clinical research industry, including job opportunities, current trends, and growth prospects. The session was interactive, with students and faculty members actively participating, asking questions, and expressing keen interest in learning about career pathways in the pharmaceutical sector.

The enthusiasm and engagement displayed by both students and faculty members were truly encouraging. We received positive feedback and numerous requests for follow-up sessions, which indicates a strong interest in further exploration of the industry and alignment of academic curricula with industry requirements.
