Vagdevi College of Pharmacy & Research Centre, Nellore | 15 November 2025
What stood out immediately at the PHUSE Academia Meet at Vagdevi College of Pharmacy and Research Centre was the calm and thoughtful presence of the students. In a world often defined by noise and speed, their quiet attentiveness felt refreshing –sometimes, curiosity reveals itself through observation, reflection and a genuine desire to learn.
Conversations in the students’ regional language created an immediate sense of comfort and familiarity. To deepen that connection, the session opened with a regional story, ‘The Lamp of Knowledge’, a simple narrative that resonated with their cultural roots. From there, the discussion evolved into a larger purpose – introducing the vision of PHUSE and the opportunities it creates through education, mentoring, collaboration and global industry networking.
Jinu J Nair helped students understand the rapidly evolving clinical research landscape and the diverse career pathways emerging within the industry. One of the most impactful moments of the session came from Murali Duddukuri, an alumnus who once sat in the very same classrooms. He told students that success does not require extraordinary beginnings – only belief, consistency and the courage to take the first step.
We thank the faculty, the organisers and especially Kiran Kumar Chemudugunta for their warm hospitality and thoughtful arrangements. The day reinforced why academia–industry collaboration matters: every conversation has the potential to plant a seed for someone’s future.
